Resource Management Guide No. 201 – Preventing, detecting and dealing with fraud

This guide is intended for accountable authorities and Commonwealth officials.• This is issued by the Minister for Justice to assist accountable authorities to meet their obligations under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act) and section 10 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014 (PGPA Rule) and the Commonwealth Fraud Control Policy.

Islamic Republic of Afghanistan High Office of Oversight and Anti-corruption

This strategic plan of the High Office of Oversight and Anti-corruption (HOO) for 2011 to 2013 addresses the HOO’s ability to satisfy the Government of the Islamic republic of Afghanistan’s (GIRoA) commitments towards combating corruption and promoting transparency and accountability as is indicated in the constitution and obliged by the Millennium Development Goals (MDG).

Commonwealth Fraud Control Framework 2014

The Framework was developed in line with the cultural change in Commonwealth resource management under the PGPA Act, which reflects a move from a compliance approach to a principles-based framework. The Framework maintains the core elements of fraud control: rigorous risk assessments; fraud control plans, and appropriate prevention, detection and investigations measures.

Commonwealth Fraud Control Guidelines 2011

The Commonwealth Fraud Control Guidelines (Guidelines) are issued by the Minister for Home Affairs under Regulation 16A of the Financial Management and Accountability Regulations 1997 (FMA Regulations). The FMA Regulations require officials to have regard to the Guidelines when performing duties related to the efficient, effective, economical and ethical use of public resources.

Commonwealth Fraud Control Policy

The Commonwealth Fraud Control Policy (the Policy) has been developed to support the accountable authorities of non-corporate Commonwealth entities (entities) to effectively discharge their responsibilities under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act) and section 10 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014 (the fraud rule).
